Experience and Qualifications
I have worked with a variety of individuals with psychological disorders. I
have worked as a Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist at The National
Phobics Society, The Priory Hospital and as Counsellor in local Colleges in
the Salford and Bolton area. At present I provide therapy for Greater
Manchester Fire and Rescue and work at The Worsley Centre for Psychotherapy in
Salford.
My work involves providing therapy for individuals and groups who suffer
with psychological issues such as depression, anxiety, anger management
issues, health anxiety, obsessive-compulsive disorder, phobias, post
traumatic stress disorder and eating disorders.
I also provide supervision, EMDR therapy, professional training and
workshops. In addition, I am a lecturer in the Counselling and Psychotherapy
department at Salford University.
Qualifications include
MSc Psychotherapy and Counselling, BSc (Hons) Psychology, Advanced Diploma
in Cognitive-Behavioural Psychotherapy, Diploma in Hypno-Psychotherapy,
Advanced Certificate in Hypnotherapy, Post Graduate Certificate in Education
and Level One, Intermediate and Level Two in EMDR Therapy
